Basketball News

 

            The basketball season continued over the weekend and here are the results from week six.  The 4th and 5th grade girls (1-6) lost to St. Matthew on Sunday.  The JV girls (3-5) lost to undefeated St. Andrew on Saturday.  The 4th grade boys (1-6) lost to Our Lady of Peace 26-17 on Saturday.  The 5th grade boys (5-3) defeated Holy Spirit 34-31 on Saturday.  The 6th grade boys (6-2) defeated St. Brigid 39-25 on Saturday and will play undefeated St. Matthew this weekend.  The JV boys (2-6) lost to St. Catharine on Saturday.  The varsity boys (4-4) lost to St. Catharine 55-44 on Saturday despite a 20 point effort from Carl Belt.  The game schedule is posted on the website.

 

Concession Stand

 

            The schedule for the concession stand is posted on the website and also posted on the door by the pop machine in the gym.  The following team is scheduled to work   Friday, January 3: 7th Grade Boys (5:15 to 7:30 and 7:30 to 9:15 p.m.)  The following teams are scheduled to work on Saturday, January 4: 8th Boys (8 to 10 a.m.), 6-7th Girls (10 to Noon), and 5th grade boys (Noon to 2 p.m.).  Please email me to sign up or sign up on the sheet on the door in the gym.  Thanks in advance for helping staff the gym.

 

Spring Sports Signups

           

            Students in grades 4-8 can begin to sign up for spring sports by coming into the gym on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by downloading the parent consent form and sending in the form and fee into the school office.  We offer the following spring sports with the fee associated with each sport in parenthesis; track ($55), baseball ($75), and softball ($75).  The deadline to sign up for these sports is Saturday, February 25 at 2 p.m.

A form is needed for each sport, so if your child wants to play softball and run track, you must fill out two forms.  If you have any questions, please email me at boddi@sbcglobal.net.
