RCIA / ADULT FAITH FORMATION
The class
topic for this week is “Jesus, Who do you say I am?” presented by Mike
Keebaugh. You don’t have to be investigating Catholicism to attend and grow in
your knowledge of our faith. The class meets from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
in the Burkley Atrium. Access through the backdoor off of the parking
lot.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
The
Sacrament of Penance will be celebrated here on Saturdays from 3:00 to 3:30
except for October 11th.
The Sacrament will be celebrated on Mondays immediately after the noon mass
except for October 13th.

SOCIAL EVENT
Mark your
calendar and plan to join other 20-30 Some-
things for a group outing to the Columbus Italian Festival on
Sunday, October 12th following the 11:30 Mass. Come meet new people, enjoy
great food and festivities and check out the beautiful St. John the Baptist
Italian Catholic
Church. Those
interested can meet at the Specht Center at 12:45 p.m. and carpool or make
arrangements to meet up at the festival. Singles, couples and children are
welcome to join us. Admission is $5 for adults and children get in free! For

DIOCESAN OFFICE for VOCATIONS
The Pontifical College of
Josephinum will host a College Live-in Oct. 9–11 for young men who are juniors
and seniors in high school and college students who are interested in knowing
more about seminary life. The Live-in will include campus tours, discussions,
meals, prayer, and recreation. There is no charge for this event. For

SERVICE SATURDAY 2008
St. Mary’s
20/30 Somethings (SMAC) in partnership with Catholic Social Services is hosting
Service Saturday 2008, October 25th from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00
p.m. In conjunction with Ohio’s Make a Difference Day,
volunteers will help work on house projects throughout central Ohio for the
elderly and most vulnerable among us. We will meet at St. Mary’s at 9 a.m.
for brief instructions, assignments and of course coffee and juice. Lunch will
be provided! Can’t volunteer? Tax deductible gifts to St. Mary’s
(indicate Service Saturday in the memo line) can help provide
tools and materials for the job sites. All monies raised will go to helping
make Service Saturday a success! To “make a difference” sign up in the
back of Church or email/call Jason in the parish office. This service
project is open to everyone!

FAMILY ROSARY
CAREY,
OHIO VISIT
St. Ladislas Senior Stars will be making their
annual trip to Our Lady of Consolation Shrine in Carey, Ohio, on Oct. 16th.
The trip cost is $20.00 plus your cost for lunch at the Shrine cafeteria. Leave
from St. Lad’s by bus at 8:30 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m. If interested please

The Greater Columbus Post of the Catholic
Veterans will meet Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 7:30 p.m. at American Legion
