support of missions and the missionaries who serve them.
Our
donations will help fund missionary activities such as catechetical programs,
Seminaries, the work of religious communities, communication and transportation
needs, and the construction of much-needed chapels, churches, orphanages and
schools. The proceeds of the collection will be distributed – in the Pope’s
name – among missions and missionaries of the entire world. Please use your specially marked envelopes to submit your contribution

October is Respect
Life Month
The Catholic Church has long held October to be the month in
which we prayerfully celebrate our firm belief that all human life is sacred.
The Marriage and Family Life Office reminds you that, as Pope John Paul II
wrote in his 1995 Encyclical “The Gospel of Life”:
The family proclaims life when parents teach
children to communicate openly, to value all life and to fulfill their
God-given mission.
The family celebrates life through prayer, thanking God for the gift of life and for each other.
The family serves life by promoting the
welfare and well-being of its own members and the members of the greater
“family of life.”
Lord and giver of all
life, help us to value each person, created in love by you. In your mercy,
guide and assist our efforts to promote the dignity and value of all human
life, born and unborn. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
