resume our regular weekly schedule on Dec.
2nd with a visit to the Jubilee Museum at Holy Family
Church. Sessions are open t0 anyone

REMINDER-CHANGE IN CONFESSION
SCHEDULE
There will be no celebration of the Sacrament of
Confession on Monday, November 23.
The regular Monday schedule will resume on November 30th
(immediately after the 12:00 Mass).
OFFICE HOURS-WEEK OF
THANKSGIVING
The parish office will be closed from noon on
Wednesday, Nov. 25th through Friday, Nov. 27th for the
Thanksgiving holiday. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 30th.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish
everyone a blessed Thanksgiving. May we each take a moment to remember that all
we are and all we have is a gift from God.
LITURGICAL MINISTERS NEEDED FOR 5th SUNDAY…the weekend of Nov. 28-29 will be the 5th weekend in November and we do
not have a committed group of liturgical ministers for this weekend, please
sign up on the sheet located under the pictures of Pope Benedict and Bishop
Campbell to serve as an altar server, lector, or extraordinary minister.
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL COLLECTION
Each 5th Sunday throughout the year is set aside to collect
for St. Vincent de Paul. Please use your pre-printed envelopes for your
donation or mark your envelope accordingly so funds can be applied properly.

v The annual Men’s Social hosted
by the Knights of Columbus is set for Wednesday, Nov. 25th from 6:30
to midnight at St. Mary’s Gym.
v It’s almost that time of year and the Knights of
Columbus will again unload Christmas Trees on Friday, Nov. 27 at 8:00 a.m. at St. Mary. We need volunteers

and Carols at St. Mary School. This event is a great way to kick off the
Christmas Holiday season.

Village annual Village Lights. Dine, shop and stroll the streets of German
Village from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Please note, St. Mary bingo will be held that
same evening so parking in our lot will be limited.

The
diocesan Marriage and Family Life Office has published a booklet of prayers,
rituals, ideas, and activities for the Advent and Christmas seasons. “Advent and Christmas Traditions: Keeping
the Seasons Holy” is a
valuable tool in making the celebration of these liturgical seasons more
meaningful for you and your family. It is available by contacting the office at

copy, which includes postage.

CHRISTMAS SHOW The 2009
Celtic Christmas Show is set for Fri.
Dec. 4 and Sat. Dec. 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shamrock Club of Columbus, 60 West
Castle Dr., Col. OH. Tickets

18). There will be a Chinese Auction / Raffle. Performances by the
Columbus Celtic Chorus, The Shamrock Club Pipes and Drums, St. Mary's Bell

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Dominican Learning Center, a ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace, provides one to one
tutoring in: English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education, GED preparation, and
Citizenship. We are
in need of volunteer tutors who could teach one person an hour each week.

ATTENTION ALL YOUNG ADULTS
St. Mary’s in conjunction with stumpthepriest.com
will be hosting a series of talks entitled, “Reasons to Believe.”
We will meet the first Thursday of
every month at Gresso’s on High Street at 7:00 p.m. The next meeting is on Dec.
3rd. People are encouraged to come early (6:00 p.m. to 7:00
p.m.) for
dinner and fellowship. The evening will consist of a featured wine and wine instruction
(this was a huge hit last month), a raffle, a brief talk on why we believe
what we believe, and questions answered by Father Josh Wagner from stumpthepriest.com.
Start reserving your first Thursdays to come and learn about your faith in an

pay for their own dinner and drinks.
ADOPT-A-FAMILY
We will again be adopting families
in need this Advent and Christmas season. Cards will be available for you
to select this weekend. Each card will include specific instructions regarding
price level, packaging, and drop off dates. Here is your opportunity to share
the blessings you have been given with those who are struggling during these
